About CEA

The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) is a key player in research, development and innovation in four main areas: defence and security, low carbon energies (nuclear and renewable energies), technological research for industry, fundamental research in the physical sciences and life sciences.​

As a major technological research institute, the CEA/Liten plays a decisive role in the development of future technologies for the energy transition and the limitation of greenhouse gas emissions. In order to meet these challenges, the Liten and its ecosystem innovate with the objective of creating value and transferring it to industry and the economic world.
